Women’s Health Physiotherapy addresses health issues that women commonly experience at various stages of their lives. A trained Women’s Health physiotherapist is aware and sensitive to female anatomy as well as the influence of hormonal changes.

– Lower back and pelvic pain in pregnancy

– Post partum rehabilitation, especially for separated abdominal muscles (rectum diastasis)

Pelvic Health

Pelvic physiotherapy is an aspect of Women’s Health Physiotherapy that involves treating conditions pertaining to the pelvic floor. A Pelvic Physiotherapist has undergone specific training in pelvic health to understands the difficulties a person may experience while trying to manage prolapse and bladder/bowel incontinence disorders. It’s never too late to regain functional pelvic floor control!
